Sgàthan

Sgàthan is the Scottish Gaelic word for “looking glass” or mirror, pronounced Skà-han.

I chose this beautiful word to represent both my publishing company and my personal return to writing major works. The name reflects the nature of the journey—one that requires deep self-reflection, time, writing, re-writing, research, analysis… and then repeating that cycle many times over.

Like any creative endeavor—whether composing music, developing a new recipe, or crafting a story—the process is a mix of inspiration, structure, deconstruction, compromise, and reimagining. I genuinely enjoy every part of it, and I feel a deep sense of satisfaction not just when I finish a new piece, but especially when someone else connects with what I’ve created.

If you’d like to follow along with my creative journey, get updates on new releases, and hear more about the tools and processes I use, I invite you to click on the link to my website or return to the home page, then click the subscribe button. I’d love to have you along on the journey with me.
